Core capabilities

One compact gateway. A complete RF workflow.

RAW learn & replay

Capture remote-control signals, save them into slots and replay them later.

RF receive matching

Recognize learned signals and expose matching events to your automation system.

Home Assistant

MQTT Discovery creates controls and sensors without manual entity configuration.

Responsive WebUI

Configure Wi-Fi, MQTT, RF slots, analyzer tools and diagnostics from a browser.

OTA updates

Update the firmware over the network after the initial PlatformIO installation.

Backup & restore

Export configuration and learned RF data before upgrades or hardware changes.

Quick installation

From an empty ESP8266 to a working gateway.

The firmware and the LittleFS WebUI must both be uploaded during the first installation.

  1. 01
    Open in PlatformIO

Download and extract the source package, then open the project folder.

  2. 02
    Upload firmware

    PlatformIO → Upload

  3. 03
    Upload WebUI

    PlatformIO → Upload Filesystem Image

  4. 04
    Configure the device

Connect to the OpenRF access point and open 192.168.4.1.

!
“index.html not found”

This usually means the firmware was uploaded, but the LittleFS filesystem was not. Run “Upload Filesystem Image” and restart the device.
